How It Works

Food donations are the key to success.

A food donor, calls the central number for the CB Fridges to start the process.

The rescue operator, verifies the location for pickup and a few details about the amount and type of food being rescued (especially if a first time donor)

The volunteers are notified via a group text of pending donation for pickup.

An available volunteer confirms and goes to pick up the food while identifying themselves as working for CB Fridges

If repackaging is required the volunteer delivers the food to a repackaging location first. Once repackaging is completed, the food is transported to one of the CB Fridges locations

The food is placed in the fridge for those needing a meal and they are able to make their selection whenever food is available.

By feeding our neighbors they can be productive members of our community and give the love back to our community in ways that we can’t measure but can feel.
