Why does a food rescue operation need money? Let’s get into it and share the things we can do with the proper ongoing funds.

As any startup business would experience, a non-profit volunteer organization has the same basic costs to support it’s infrastructure to operate. Startup on ongoing costs include things like:

  • Printed materials:
    • Brochures, flyers, business cards, banners, and promotional information
  • Branding and marketing material:
    • Volunteer t-shirts for recognition when picking up food
    • Window stickers/clings for businesses who regularly donate food or financial support
  • Volunteer recognition events
  • Technology support for:
    • Communications software for Volunteer/Donor management
    • On-line web presence and domain brand monthly/annual costs
  • Repackaging materials

Donations can be made directly to the fridges operating location.
